Thankfully we had a decent experience here. We reserved in advance and the vehicle drop-off and retrieval was fast. This is the only parking place we knew where our car and valuables would be safe. Attendant was okay to deal with after tipping.

Robo-Park is not all that great. I received no receipts, email or text, for the parking reservation. I was told to take a photo of my parking spot number when I got to the parking lot, again, no hard receipt. I was told I had to pay an extra $20 in cash for my car being a small SUV, third time, no receipt. With the amount of automation involved in the parking process, more attention could be diverted to automation involved the customer connection side of the business.

Concept is a huge plus and wish there are more of them. Execution is lagging. I personally had few to no problems. But the system is a bit glitchy. Scanning doesn’t work right away or confirm that it works. There were 2 attendants trying to fix some stuff. But when you pay premium, you expect it to work smoother and easier. Plus-no one touches your car. If it works, it’s mostly in and out. It’s a cool concept. Negatives- they could sell out of spaces. The system is not the smoothest. Gate and scanning ticket is a bit glitchy. I would park here again. But definitely not well known insanely busy days such as around Xmas time.

Cool self-parking spot in the heart of Manhattan, near Times Square! The robotic elevator system handles parking automatically, so there’s no need to worry about attendants, tipping, or security concerns. Booking was easy through SpotHero and other parking apps. The only minor delay was waiting in line for a few minutes because some people were taking their time getting stuff out of their cars. Otherwise, this is the coolest and most hassle-free parking experience I’ve had in NYC!

My experience has been great and flawless, albeit expensive but it’s Manhattan. It’s cool to watch your vehicle come out like a vending machine. There’s live feed to see the vehicles go in or come out. But I can see big issues when this robot malfunctions though.
