HEROES. This is my second review for Auburndale Tire - and these guys are the BEST. I caught a bolt in my tire (run flats), and they had me in and out in under 20 minutes. These dudes are honest, straight shooters, and do fantastic work. I’ve recommended to all of my friends - can’t speak highly enough. Thank you, Auburndale Tire!!!

Went in for a tire repair. Tech drove the car in, sure enough as soon as he opened the driver door he then hit the lifter post and left a big dent on my door. I saw and heard this happen in front of me and tech and manager doesn’t take responsibility and told me this is “not a big deal” on top of that the way they drive the cars into their repair bay is very reckless. If you want your car to be fixed right and treated right DO NOT take your chances and DO NOT ever come to this shop.

!!! Stay away from this place, they do scam!!! I went there yesterday for a tire repair because my tire pressure was low. They made an extra hole in my tire and tried to sell me two new tires for $500+. How did I know they made a hole in my tire? Because I drove 20 mins to their shop, and the tire pressure kept 26 the whole way. After their 2 mins check, the tire pressure dropped from 26 to 13 like instantly. They told me my tire got three nails in and they cannot fix it , I have to buy new tires because my other tire need to change also. I told them to show me where the nails are. I can feel the air getting out from a tiny hole constantly but without a nail, I asked where’s the nail if you said there was a nail in? The guy looks like the boss cannot explain. I told him it doesn’t make sense, if the hole was in my tire before I arrived and kept leaking air then the tire pressure wouldn’t keep 26 steady all the way when I was driving for 20 minutes. The guy started to changed the topic to “if you don’t want to buy two tires then one is good to go. “ I refused and left. Won’t let the scammer get my money. Stay away from this shop , if they can destroy a tire, they can destroy any parts of your vehicle and persuade you to buy a new one from them.

I went here with my girlfriend’s car and they said the front two tires were no good because they were from 2007 and 2008, because they “think” there are some scratches or gouges on the tires, and because there is dry rot (there was none). I asked him if the tires being old is a reason to fail inspection in and of itself and he had to admit it is not, yet he listed it as a reason for recommending two new tires totaling hundreds of dollars he was pushing to sell me. I asked him to show me the scratches (which would not be an issue) so we could determine if they are indeed scratches or gouges, and he said he does not want to stand in the rain (it was drizzling). This shop refused to show me the reasons why they were threatening to fail me, because the tires were new (purchased last year) and because they were pushing to SCAM me to buy new tires (it is a tire sales place!). So I countered his points including going out and seeing no dry rot, and added there was no wear in the tread. When I mentioned the tread he seized on it and attempted to add it to his laundry list of baseless reasons why the front tires were no good. I told him ok I’m not going to buy tires because they are new a perfect and you won’t even look at them with me to show me the issue and he said he will not run my “fail” through the system because he does not want to flag my car for the repairs. In reality it needed no repairs and that is why he did not run the fail, as the car quickly passed inspection with no issues today, and the mechanic was asked to specifically inspect the tires as well (no issues!). This is a dishonest and illegal shop that will scam you into buying tires you don’t need since they are a tire sales shop. DO NOT GO HERE! Attached is a photo of the perfectly fine tire they said was no good! I will be reporting this shop to the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs for Unfair Trade Practices and Fraud.

Got the opportunity to stop by. Had a great and easy experience. I have a Tesla model Y, seeking new set of tires. I already knew which set I wanted. Sam helped me out, was able to order the set of tires I wanted. He called when the tires arrived. I was not in a rush to get it mounted and balanced right away but I did request a wheel alignment to go with everything. Super nice that he was able to schedule me in despite the big volume of cars in their shop. A couple of hours later, he called me back to say the car was ready for pick up and here I am, home, writing this review. Shop was clean, they have a waiting area in the lobby. It’s a great location, tons of restaurants within walking distance. They accept credit cards as well. Highly recommend.
