I use Barry & Sons Plumbing & Electrical for regular plumbing work at my rentals and home. The plumbers are always dependable, let me know when they'll arrive, get the job done quickly, and charge reasonable rates. That's all great. Today, the Rinnai propane water heater at my house stopped working and showed an error code that wouldn’t go away. Erick came out and spent about three hours taking the unit apart and checking everything, even though it had always worked fine before. He found a small rock stuck deep in the air intake. We have no idea how it got there, but Erick took it out, put the water heater back together, tested it, and made sure it was working perfectly again. Many plumbers can handle routine jobs, but it takes real skill to find and fix a tricky issue like this.

He checked out the problem, explained our options clearly, and quickly fixed everything. Everyone we spoke with, from our first call to when Kristopher left, was friendly, patient, and professional. Something I noticed was how neat and organized Kristopher's work truck was, which really impressed me—it’s not something you see every day! You’ve definitely become our first choice for plumbers in New York. Kristopher also explained some options for our cast iron pipes, like descaling or having them coated inside. here’s my review based on my recent experience with barry & sons plumbing & electrical. i reached out to get a quote for a gas tankless water heater and set up an appointment. jonah came over and even though i’d already received a quote before, he explained some other options and ended up giving me an even better price. he also checked out my furnace and ac unit and said i made a good choice with the brands. i ended up cancelling my other quote because i felt really good about the service. i liked how jonah stayed professional and spoke respectfully about other companies, which really stood out to me. honestly, customer service and professionalism mean a lot to me, maybe even more than the price. people always remember how you treat them. i also got a rebate on my new water heater, which was a nice bonus. for the installation, kristopher, asher, and jonah showed up on time and got started right away. they removed my old tank water heater and put in the new tankless one quickly and carefully. they checked the water pressure and made sure all the faucets and fixtures were working before they finished. they cleaned up everything and made sure i was happy with the job. overall, super professional and friendly, and i really appreciated their attention to detail. they really do live up to their slogan.
