This place is very shady; everything magically ended up costing way more than the original quote. If you want to get taken advantage of then this is the place for you

The customer service here is really bad. The prices are outrageous, and if you come in with a problem, you’ll likely leave with the same issue coming back just minutes later. They always have excuses that make no sense. Even something as simple as an oil change, which should take 20 minutes, somehow becomes a hassle. I definitely do not recommend this place. I have no idea how they have such a good rating on Google because it’s really not worth it. They are not accommodating at all, they overcharge, and the quality of service is terrible. Avoid this place!

Fantastic shop for both mechanical and body repairs (only done small body work so not sure if they do major body work). I was even able to get a complicated electrical issue with the wiring harness fixed here. I had to bring the car back three or four times because there were several loose wires that had to be repaired and it was a process of elimination as the car's computer would only tell them a single wire fault at a time. They refused to charge me for the follow-up visits even though I'm sure additional labor was involved in fixing the secondary faults that were found. Can't give them high enough praise for keeping my Taurus running like new. Very nice staff with both English and Spanish speakers.

Got scammed! Was told my car was totaled due to flooding/water entry cause by rain. They were NOT able to fix it. However, still charged me $1000 for battery and fuse box replacement. Mind you they had my car for over a month. Took it to another shop and were able to fix it in couple days. Back to normal, running perfectly. To top it off, I was told both battery and fuse box were NOT new. Called this place for months to make things right, only to brush me off. Only action is to take legal action for scamming.

I'm extremely pleased with the service at Ramirez and Son. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and my car was ready when promised. I live in Weehawken so it's very handy to walk to and from. This was my second visit and they honored the warranty that I received last October without any discussion. I would highly recommend this business and I am giving them a FIVE star review.
